In order to make it easy to join Astoria Oyama , we offer a free trial lesson.
You may also observe our classes at you leisure.
If you prefer to not take this first step,
feel free to ask any questions
beforehand,in person, by phone or by e-mail.
- 1.Inquiries
You may make reservations by phone or Internet.
Those who wish to observe may enter the dojo without a reservation.
- 2.Class observation or participation in a trial class
Those who wish to participate in a trial class should bring a towel, comfortable clothing (T-shirt, sweatpants, etc.), and will be barefoot.It would be convenient if you could bring some sort of drink to replenish your fluids too.
In the class, after warm up exercises, you will practice initial simple movements along side other students.
We can assure you that there is nothing painful or involving danger.
- 3.Registration process
After the first class, those who have registered will receive a karate gi (uniform) as a free present.
